HSE releases annual report on fatal injuries in agriculture, forestry and fishing in GB 2020/21.

Figures published in the HSE report recently show 41 people were killed as a result of farming activities in the last 12 months.

Transport, in particular overturning vehicles or being struck by moving vehicles, caused most deaths.

Agriculture had the worst rate of fatal injury, with the average rate over the last five years around 20 times as high as the all-industry rate.
